At xShield, we stand behind the quality of our software and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the procedures for requesting a refund.


1. 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

1.1 Eligibility

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases of xShield software subscriptions and licenses. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date.

1.2 Qualifying Purchases

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to:

  • New subscription purchases (monthly or annual plans)
  • First-time license purchases
  • Upgrades from free to paid plans

1.3 Non-Qualifying Purchases

The following are NOT eligible for refunds under the 30-day guarantee:

  • Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
  • Purchases made more than 30 days ago
  • Add-on features or services purchased separately after the initial purchase
  • Discounted or promotional pricing purchases
  • Enterprise or custom licensing agreements
  • Purchases made through third-party resellers or app stores

2. REFUND CONDITIONS

2.1 First-Time Purchases Only

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to your first purchase of xShield software. Subsequent purchases, renewals, or repurchases after a previous refund are not eligible except as required by law.

2.2 Fair Use Policy

Refunds are intended for legitimate dissatisfaction with our product. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of our terms of service, including but not limited to:

  • Multiple refund requests from the same user or associated accounts
  • Evidence of abusive usage followed by a refund request
  • Violation of Terms of Service or EULA
  • Use of the software for its intended purpose followed by a refund request after project completion
  • Chargeback abuse or fraudulent payment activity

2.3 Account Status

To be eligible for a refund:

  • Your account must be in good standing
  • You must not have violated our Terms of Service or EULA
  • You must not have engaged in any fraudulent or illegal activity

3. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

3.1 Refund Request Process

To request a refund within the 30-day window:

  1. Contact Support: Email care@xshield.com with subject line “Refund Request”.
  2. Provide Information: Include:
    • Your full name and account email
    • Order number or transaction ID
    • Purchase date
    • Reason for refund (optional)
  3. Verification: We may request additional information.
  4. Processing: Requests processed within 5–7 business days after approval.

3.2 Response Time

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. Peak periods may take longer.


4. REFUND PROCESSING

4.1 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used. We cannot issue refunds to different accounts.

4.2 Processing Time

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days
  • Other Methods: Varies by provider

4.3 Partial Refunds

A full refund applies to annual subscriptions within 30 days. No partial or prorated refunds.


5. SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

5.1 Automatic Renewals

Subscription renewals are NOT eligible for refunds.

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel anytime. Access continues through the current billing period. No refunds for ongoing periods.

5.3 Grace Period

A 48-hour grace period is allowed for mistaken renewal charges.


6. EXCEPTIONS AND SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

6.1 Technical Issues

If technical issues prevent normal use and cannot be resolved, we may offer a refund at our discretion.

6.2 Billing Errors

Incorrect charges due to billing errors will be refunded.

6.3 Duplicate Charges

Duplicate charges caused by system errors will be refunded.

6.4 Service Discontinuation

If xShield discontinues the software, pro-rated refunds may be issued.


7. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS AND SERVICES

The following are NOT refundable under any circumstances:

  • Subscription renewals (except 48-hour grace period)
  • Expired subscriptions/licenses
  • Services or content already delivered
  • Purchases older than 30 days
  • Custom development or consulting
  • Training or onboarding already completed
  • Domain registrations or third-party services
  • Gift cards or promotional credits

8. CHARGEBACKS

8.1 Chargeback Policy

Initiating chargebacks without contacting us may result in account termination, loss of access, or legal action.

8.2 Dispute Resolution

Please contact support before initiating a chargeback. We resolve disputes promptly.


9. REFUNDS AND DATA

9.1 Data Retention

Upon refund, access is terminated and your account may be deleted. We are not required to retain your data.

9.2 Data Export

Please export your data before requesting a refund.


10. ACCOUNT TERMINATION AFTER REFUND

10.1 Access Revocation

After a refund, you must delete all copies of the software.

10.2 Future Purchases

Refunded accounts may face restrictions on future purchases and guarantee eligibility.


11. THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES

11.1 App Store Purchases

Refunds must be requested through the platform where the purchase was made.

11.2 Reseller Purchases

Refunds must be requested from the reseller directly.
